From the Desk of Pastor Bruce (9/05/2010 Good morning everyone. I trust you have had a good week. Today we are interrupting our study on the book of Romans to hear an update from Romania. Wayne and Liz, Justin and Elizabeth are home after an exciting trip working with a second chapel. They have much to share about what God did while they were there after our initial team came home. Again, you might be asking, why do we need to hear more about what God is doing in Romania? The answer is simple, we need to hear the message of the work of the Kingdom on a regular basis. As we heard last week from our brother Jason Matthews, God is doing so much in people’s lives and I know from many of you that it is encouraging to be part of a church that wants to literally reach the world for Christ's sake. So today, let’s be encouraged by what God is doing. Begin to pray about your involvement with the church plant for next year in Romania as we will need to get started earlier to make sure the funds are raised to continue that great work. I also hope many of you will be praying about going next year. It is a great training ground for sharing your faith and seeing God do great and mighty things. On a different note, I would ask you to continue to give to the work around the physical church here. There are many improvements that need to be taken care of right away. Without your faithful giving, the work of the Lord is hindered and we fail to see the blessings God has waiting.
