Prayer at Church – Culminating 10 Days of Praying for Lost Souls
On April 10-19 (10 Days) I am asking each of you to consider joining together, in another fast. This fast will be different from the Daniel fast. This fast is much shorter and does not center around food, necessarily. If you like, you certainly can fast from food, but this fast is designed to fast from whatever you would consider a normal part of your life. Something you are willing to sacrifice for 10 days as a reminder to reach out to God.
Because this is Resurrection celebration month, I thought it would be good to focus on people who need Jesus. I am asking you to pray for 1 to 3 people you know, who need to be born again. These could be people you work with or live near or even family members whom you know need the Lord.
On the last night, April 19th, I’m also asking you to come to the church building for a prayer service, to specifically pray together, for the people whom you have been fasting and praying.
