This is a major event for us. Over the past few years we have distributed hundreds and hundreds of bibles in our community as well as Gospel tracts and other life saving information. Please pray for our church as we reach out to our local community on a night when Satan is usually honored instead of God. If you would like to join us, please come and pray or go into the neighborhood with one of our teams.
We will have a box construction time on Sunday, just after services. Many, Many boxes need to be assembled for the grand culmination of the Packing Party on Friday Evening
Monday – Thursday, the Fellowship Hall will be transformed into a place for packing the shoeboxes – help may be needed to place all these items, if you have time available, please see Deanna or Kitty.
Friday night – join the festivities, in packing all those wonderful donations, bound for points unknown at this time, to give a child a special gift….
A couple of years ago, we decided it would be nice to celebrate Thanksgiving with our church family. During that same year, we adopted a Hispanic church to be a part of our church family. Within that Hispanic church, there were many countries represented, from Honduras to Guatemala to Puerto Rico and even Cuba, and many others. So, we decided to make our Thanksgiving celebration an international dinner, celebrating the different cultures that are part of our church and a part of our great United States.
It has been a wonderful time of thanksgiving and celebration. This year, our celebration will be on November 13th at 6:30 pm. Please come and celebrate our great country that is represented by so many different countries. We would love to have you with us.
Join in the fun and joy of packing the many, many boxes that will go across the world, and bring joy and hope to children.
This year our hope is “Shooting for the Stars – 1,000+!”
See Kitty Sims or Deanna Villers for more information.
There will be help needed during the week to move and place all of the donated items in the fellowship hall.
5:30pm - 6:30pm
Every year we look forward to celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It will be a wonderful time of celebration as well.
Please come and celebrate this year on this day beginning at 5:30pm.
