We are set aside and consecrated for service to God. So, we fight the battle against evil as the Lord Jesus Christ has redeemed us to fight, to love our wives and families as Christ loved the Church and to make disciples wherever God sends us, even to the outermost parts of the earth…or even here at Laurel Hill Baptist Church and our neighbors.
Therefore, the purpose of the Men's Ministry is to provide a way for men to learn more about God, with the result of serving Him fully each day.
As our church grows, and our involvement in the community grows, we strive to stay connected and maintain fulfilling relationships with other men. Therefore, the Men’s Ministry sees opportunities to serve God in the following ways throughout the year:
Bible and Book Studies
Retreats and Trips
Discipleship Training
Men of Action (Service)
Communication
Gathering Together
And in order to stay fully connected with one another, the men also meet every Monday evening at 5 PM for a verse by verse study through the entire Bible. These times are offered for the men to choose which study fits with their schedule better.
